Vann S. is a 55 year old widow who lives with one of her daughters. Mrs. Vann and her daughter have been tailors since 2003. They make silk dresses that are very expensive. People wear silk dresses during Khmer traditional weddings and other main ceremonies. Normally, this dress costs around $50 to $80 and will take around ten days to complete.

Mrs. Vann would like a loan from Kiva to purchase a hem machine and more silk in order to make more dresses.
