Rasheeda M. Sharif Group's story

Rasheeda baji is a wife of M. S. and has lived in a city named Borewala, Pakistan for the last 8 years. Borewala city is famous for its shrines. Her husband operates a fruit selling business. He has 4 years of experience in this business. He buys fruits from the famous market named (Sunday bazaar) and sells to the fruit shops and earns a profit. Rasheeda baji helps him by packing the fruits in boxes. She successfully repaid her two loans from Asasah (a microfinance institute of Pakistan). Now she is applying again for a loan to buy more seasonal fruits to increase the profit of her husband.

She is the group leader of four other women from her locality. Naziran baji wants a loan to buy clothes for her cloth selling business. Razia bjai wants a loan to buy seasonal fruits for her fruit selling business. Tahira baji wants a loan to buy an auto-rickshaw (a local three-wheeled motor vehicle). Ghulam Fatima baji wants a loan to buy beams for her shuttering business.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
