A loan of $250 helped buy farm supplies to cultivate basic grains.

José Santiago's story

José, who studied up to grade 3 at school, is accompanied and his partner takes care of the household chores. He has 3 children, two live with him and the other is independent.

José has been a farmer for 25 years and he learned it from his parents. When he became a couple, he had no other options so he continued with farming and breeding. He has cows and sells the milk. His crops are 2 KM from his home and his partner and children help him with the work.

He is requesting this loan to buy farm supplies to cultivate basic grains.

He plans on having a good harvest to sell, pay off his loan on time and take food home daily for his family.
