Eliza's story

Eliza has owned a small food vendor store in the Ruaha neighborhood of Iringa for three years. She belongs to the Ipogolo E group loan. She currently earns an average monthly profit of approximetly $145. Every day, she works at her business for 12 hours.


She is requesting her first loan from BRAC Tanzania so that she can buy more tomatoes, carrots, coconuts, and onions to add her current stock. She needs these for the improvement of her business. She is hoping to increase her profit and grow her business through this loan.


Eliza is 26 years old and is married with a one-year-old baby and a seven-year-old child.
