Pen C. is fifty-two years old and married with four children. The family resides in the Kampong Cham province. Her husband, pictured here, operates a motor-taxi business and makes $10 in revenue every day. Pen's business, making baskets, typically makes about $2.50 a day. Two of their children are workers and two are in school. Recently, her husband's motorbike has become unreliable, even after being repaired many times, so Pen wants a loan to replace the motorbike.
