A loan of $275 helped increase merchandise.

Zonia's story

Zonia is a woman who has always worked hard to get ahead. At 37 years old, she still has great desire to continue working and helping her family. She lives in a house that was left to her by her parents. Zonia has one of the most well-stocked stores in her neighborhood. Her humble shop offers the groceries and household supplies most requested by the local population. She has had her shop for eight years and is very happy to sell products that meet the demands of her customers. The most difficult thing about her work is staying in her shop all day without being able to leave, as her store is open all day and she must be available to serve her customers whenever they call. In the future, Zonia would like to expand her business to provide more products, as her neighborhood is growing and her current supply of merchandise is not enough.

This is Zonia's fifth loan from Microfinanzas PRISMA, and all of her previous loan were repaid punctually and without problems. She is the most active member of her community bank, where she is much loved. She will use the 800 Peruvian nuevos soles from this loan to purchase more merchandise to better stock her shop.
