Bertha's story

Bertha is a member of the Dignidad Community Bank.
30-year old Bertha lives with her partner and has two children. She has a small store in her home from which she sells groceries, vegetables, and meat. She does this on a daily basis with the help of her mother and son. She and her husband also run a motorbike taxi service.
Bertha needs a loan of 2000 soles which she will use to buy rice, sugar, and noodles. Her dreams are to have her own wholesale business and to provide her children with a good education.
