A loan of $2,300 helped a member working capital.

Las Reynas Group's story

The “Las Reynas” Communal Bank, with Señora Polina as their president, are embarking on their first loan cycle with enthusiasm and a desire to succeed. They run a variety of businesses, some selling meals, cosmetics, and traditional crafts and clothing; and others doing construction, carpentry, and running public transport services. The group's members have a lot of experience in their respective fields: they know that the quality of the goods and services they offer is high while their prices remain reasonable. This loan will be used to buy the materials and tools needed for the group's members to expand and improve their businesses, thus increasing each of their household's income and allowing them to offer a better education and overall quality of life to their children. Most of the group's members have previous experience with communal banking and know how to responsibly manage loans so that every member of the group benefits equally.
