Joyce's Group's story

N. Joyce is the leader of Akutwala ekiro group in Kyebando. She is a hard-working lady and a widow with three children, ages twenty-five, twenty-three and twenty-one. She has run her business selling fresh fruits and vegetables for seven years, and she is grateful that previous loans have helped to expand her business and to attract more customers. Joyce has a dream of starting up a wholesale shop, and she believes she will achieve it. She also hopes to have all her children turn into very responsible citizens. She needs a loan to be able to buy more fruit to sell.
