Amanecer Group's story

The Amanecer Group was formed in august of 2008 and was founded by Señora Basilisa A., who acts as the group's president. Basilisa saw that her friends and neighbours needed some financial help and became interested in the credit offered by Fundación Paraguaya after meeting with one of their administrators. After that meeting, the members of Amanecer founded their group and have always been extremely responsible with their payments.

Amanacer's members have small businesses. Basilisa A., Pabla A., Fermina C., and Benigna A. sell meals; Andrea M., María Angela B., María Evergista B., and María Benita Benítez sell household goods and hardware supplies; Felicita Pavón, Clara B., Carmen D., and Perla López sell clothing; Elva A. sells vegetables; Sofia E. sells fruit; and Norma D. runs a corner store.

All of the group's members are very happy that, thanks to this opportunity, their incomes have risen and they have been able to better their children's quality of life. Having easy access to credit and working capital has made a huge difference for the group, and because they value this, they are very committed to communal banking. They work in solidarity with one another as a team and work to understand and support one another.

In this group: Basilisa, Maria Angela, Fermina, Maria Evergista, Benigna , Felicita, Clara , Elva , Norma, Carmen, Maria Benita, Pabla, Andrea, Sofia, Perla
