Deeba baji is the wife of M.. They have lived in a city named Lahore in Pakistan for the past six years. Lahore city is famous for its historical places and for its Punjabi foods. Deeba baji operates a sewing business. She sews clothes from orders from her neighbors. She charges $2 per stitching. Now she has decided to prepare embroidered dresses due to demand from her neighbors. She is applying for a loan to buy material, like clothes, colored thread, and sketches, in order to start this new part of her business.

She is the leader of a group of four other women from her locality. Kosar baji also wants a loan to buy clothes, colored thread, and sketches for her embroidery business. Rehana kosar baji wants a loan to buy toys for her toy shop. Shamim baji wants a loan to buy groceries for her grocery shop. Nawab baji wants a loan to buy clothes for her business selling clothes.

As a group loan, funds will be distributed among the members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
