Sakina M.azam Group's story

Sakina baji is a wife of M.Azam and has resided in a city named Lahore, Pakistan for the last 30 years. Lahore is famous for its historical places and for its Punjabi foods. Her husband is in the animal selling business. He sells animals to the butcher shops and earns income. He has 3 years of experience in this business. Sakina baji is the mother of five: three daughters and two sons. All of her kids are enrolled in a local school and getting an education. Sakina baji operates a sewing clothes business. She sews clothes to pay off the school fees of her kids. She is applying for a loan to buy animals (goats & sheep) for her husband’s animal selling business.

She is the group leader of three other women from her locality. Sajida parveen baji wants a loan to buy cloth for her cloth selling business. Saima baji and Shamim akhtar baji each want a loan to buy auto-rickshaws (local three-wheeled motor vehicle).

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
