A loan helped a member to purchase agricultural supplies and pay for manual labor.

Yoxaja 2 Group's story

(The first woman on the left side in the photograph), Micaela is a persevering, hard-working, and generous woman. She is 29 years old and lives happily with her family in the Nahualá community.

She reports that thanks to the loan it was possible to maintain her coffee crop. Fortunately, she had a good harvest and generated good income, which allowed her to purchase a stove. Micaela, as she does every year, has already planted her coffee crop. As is well known, this type of crop requires a large sum of money in order to be able to purchase supplies and maintain the crop. For this reason, she has requested a new loan to purchase agricultural supplies and to pay for manual labor.

Her goal for this year is to purchase land to increase her crop and also for her family to live better.
