A loan of $1,000 helped increase inventory.

Galina's story

For ten years, shoppers at the busy Pervomaiski market in Nikopol, Ukraine, have been able to purchase a variety of men’s clothing from Galina Z.. Galina sets up a nice display of sweaters, shirts, coats, and shoes at her kiosk and offers great prices to attract passing customers. Galina is divorced and works hard to provide for herself and her 14-year-old son. Currently she makes about $360 net profit per month – just enough to cover the basic expenses for two people living in Ukraine.

Galina has requested a loan for $1000 to help purchase more clothing inventory for her kiosk. This will allow her to maintain a good product selection and continue to earn an adequate income to support herself and her son.
