A loan of $2,400 helped a member buy thread for weaving.

Perpetuo Socorro Group's story

In Carapeguá city, 8 km from the Carapeguá office, some women of scant resources entered the program Comité de Mujeres Emprendedoras of the Paraguay Foundation. They decided to get together to receive information about the program.

These women are active and hard working. They are engaged in the activities mentioned (see sidebar). They are looking for a little more support. A loan will give their family income a boost and improve their quality of life.

They need operating capital to invest in their respective jobs. Then they can achieve sustainable growth. This will make them grow individually and as a group.

In this group: Viviana, Sebastiana, Elva, Maria Silvana, Rosa, Margarita, Leonarda, Rosa, Olegaria, Celsa, Cinthia, Elizabeth, Cornelia, Liliana, Avelina, Felicia
