Luz Maria's story

Luz is single and has one child. She is 34 and lives with her child in the town of Candido Dorada.

She is a member of the Suruhuayco community bank, located in Guanujo, 25 minutes away from Guaranda. The group has 14 members, who work agriculture and trade.

Luz makes a living growing corn, onions, wheat and potatoes and raising chickens, pigs and cattle. She is requesting the money to buy pigs, a cow and animal feed.

Her dream is to have her own home. In her free time she enjoys cleaning her house and looking after her animals.
