Imyakan's story

Imyakan is 49 years old, married, and the mother of two children. In 2010 she started an agricultural business. Today, she cultivates corn for harvesting grain on 0.44 hectares of land, and she also has 8 cows, 19 sheep, and a horse. Her children and husband help with the farm. The monthly income from Imyakan's business is around 8,500 som (KGS). She applied to the bank "Bai-Tushum" for a loan in the amount of 50,000 som (KGS) to buy sheep to increase the herd. Proceeds from the loan will enable Imyakan to develop her business and to save up for construction on her house.
