Margarita's story

Margarita A. D. L. belongs to the “Mujeres Shipibas” community bank. She is 58 and has 6 children. Her partner receives a pension (food sales). Margarita sells ornamental trimmings. With her first loan of 300 PEN she bought products to stock her business. The business has improved. She has more products to offer her customers. With this loan of 3,000 PEN she plans to invest in expanding her location, buying a dozen threads, a package of ribbons for decoration, etc. “I am thankful to Manuela Ramos for having confidence in those of us who do not have access to other loans. Above all, Manuela Ramos encourages us to keep going forward in spite of the different difficulties we have.”
