Weloli E. sells purified water in her district, which is located west of Kinshasa. She likes her business, which she started in 2001. It has financially supported her household, especially in paying the schooling costs for the children when her husband lost his job in 2003. The number of customers that she has is growing continuously due to the good service she provides them. This is the reason behind the obtained loan, which enabled her to buy a large quantity of water to satisfy the needs of her customers.

Weloli has also diversified her business by buying packaging material in order to grow her revenues. In the goal of fighting against illnesses caused by non-potable water, her ambition is to build a small factory to produce purified water, so as to serve the people of her area, which is in heavy need of it.

Weloli is 37 years old, married, and the mother of three children, ages 9 to 15, who all go to school.
