A loan of $150 helped a member to buy more animal feed to increase her current stock.

Hakika Group's story

Evodia has been a animal feed seller in the JNzovwe neighborhood of Mbeya for 3 years. She currently earns an average monthly profit of US$ 25. Every day she works at her business for 12 hours.

She is requesting her first loan from BRAC Tanzania so that she can buy more animal feed to increase her current stock. She is hoping that through this loan, her profit will increase and she will be able to grow her business.

Evodia is 27 years old and single. She will be sharing this loan with her fellow group member, Agness, who owns her own small business selling bites (cakes) in Mbeya.
