A loan of $675 helped to purchase 2 sheep.

Diana's story

Diana is 30 years old and lives with her husband and 2 children in a rented house. For more than 6 years, she has dedicated herself to raising and selling animals. She started with a small bull, later she began to capitalize, and now has 3 bulls and various sheep. She works together with her husband tending to and transporting their animals to the livestock market in their area on weekends. It is on these days that they can see the fruits of their arduous labor. To date, this business has proven to be more profitable than any other activity, given the earnings they generate with each sale. For this reason, Diana and her husband propose to increase their working capital in order to acquire more animals. This is the second time she has requested a loan with MFP, and she is very enthusiastic about continuing another season with her cooperative bank, newly committing to be responsible with her payments. With the funds, she will buy 2 sheep as well as sacks of fertilizer and seed to start cultivating some agricultural products.
