Mercy's story

Mercy B. is 45 years old. She is divorced with four children. Currently, all her children are working and independent. Right now, her concentration is focusing on improving her business. Mercy lives at Akim Wenchi, a suburb of Akim Oda, in the eastern region of Ghana.

Mercy trades in the sale of bush meats, and fresh and dried fish. She has been in business for the last 5 years now in the community market where she lives. Also, she trades part to the surrounding communities during their market days. She take stock from the hunters who supply her with the tasty bush meats like grass cutter, deer etc. but for the fresh fish, she takes stocks from the river Volta in Ghana. She is currently facing financial challenges to buy more bush meats and fish. She requests a loan support to restock her business. She would be grateful for your support. Mercy belongs to a village bank called ‘wonderful Jesus’.
