Lesli's story

Mrs. Leslie, belongs to the Communal Bank "Las Vencedores Villa Universitaria" and lives in Cajamarca Jr. No. 160, District of Tarapoto, San Martín. She lives with her partner, is 36 years and mother of 2 children, 1 still dependent on her.

With her loan of S /. 300.00, taken on her own initiative, she started her business selling prepared foods and she tells us that it is doing very well. At present, she continues her business selling food, located on the pavement in front of her home, where she sells to residents of the community, friends and neighbors.

With this loan of S /. 1200.00, she will invest to expand her business and buy more tables and chairs, cups and pots, and ingredients for the preparation of the daily food.

She generally decides on how the profits of her business are used. She now feels more independent and responsible, for paying her bills and in other aspects of her daily life.

She expressed great gratitude to Manuela Ramos for allowing her to grow as a women and support other women who want to start their own business and succeed on their own.
