Novrast's story

Novrast is 33 years old from village Birliki. He lives with his mother and earns a living with small agricultural activity. Sadly, for lack of economic resources and because he had to start working at a very young age, Novrast was unable to study a professional career. He works hard on family-owned agricultural land, growing greens. He always has high quality products, which are sold to local retailers for a good price.

Novrast want to make stable source of income and to be involved in serving business. The startup program, that is joint initiative between Kiva and Credo, enables rural poor people to get a loan for starting or re-starting businesses. His application was approved under the framework of this program to get a loan of 1200 USD for purchasing a second-hand car and start taxi business. He will get the chance to generate daily income, that will help Novrast meet the daily costs of his family.
He is very hard-working and motivated person, with great desire to make better living condition for his mother and will be very thankful for the loan. Novrast awaits Kiva lenders' support.
