Lolita's story

At 61 years old, Lolita S. owns a sari-sari (variety or mini grocery) store. She is a hardworking woman who is married to Plaxido, a carpenter with a meager income. They are blessed with four children. She started her business with a small amount of capital from her vegetable vending. She used and managed her money well until she could open another project, the sari-sari store, as their major source of income.

As of now, two of Lolita's children are working abroad and she is able to receive a monthly allotment as support. She needs a capital of PHP 20,000 to buy additional inventory. She looks forward to her two daughters finishing college and establishing their own careers.
