A loan of $1,000 helped purchase of women's handbags for re-sale.

Abavi Coco's story

This lady is a resident of the Nétimé neighborhood, an outlying district of the town of Lomé. She earns a living selling handbags for ladies; she has her sales point in the big open-air market of Lomé and buys her merchandise from Europe and also from Asia. She has many customers because she has good quality wares. She has been in this business since 2005. Her present stock of merchandise does not allow her to satisfy the demand of her clientele, so she is requesting a loan from WAGES to buy 50 excellent quality women's handbags.
