Lucinda's story

Lucinda C. R. is a member of the Community Bank “Mujeres Productivas (Productive Women)”, her phone number is 574454. She lives in Jr. Walter S/N Mz. B Lt.34, near “Aserradero Ezcurra”, in Santa Clara neighborhood, in the district of Manantay. She is 55 years old. She works selling bananas, in the suburbs of ther neighborhood. Her husband works as a nurse in Santa Carmela de Mashangay, 3 hours up the river and they have 4 children.

She’s been working with Manuela Ramos for a year. She obtained a previous loan of 300 New Soles, which she used to invest on a small farm, located at the facilities where her husband works.
With this loan of 1.800 New Soles she will clean the 5 acres of her farm, to later on grow bananas, oranges and zapote (local fruit).

She is very grateful to Manuela Ramos, because the bank is supports her financial loans, which allows her to work on the 5 acres of her farm, which helps her cover her family expenses.
