Esthela's story

Esthela is 45 years old. She lives with her husband, who is a bricklayer, and with her three children, who are adults, single, and work. For the past 8 years she has worked in the sale of local fruits (mangos, oranges, starfruits, among other local varieties from the jungle).

She runs this business in front of her home in a space on the ground. She likes her work a lot because thanks to her good attention she has won the affection of many clients, with whom she holds pleasant conversations. Also, it is very profitable because where she lives, she is the only person who sells these delicious products.

In the future, she would like to order the construction of a dedicated kiosk for her business. With MFP she has already had 8 loans, and she likes working with the community bank because all of its members are calm people and they do their work in a coordinated manner. The money that she is asking for would be invested in the purchase of more fruit, and by this manner she would set up her business with a better variety of products.
