A loan helped a member to buy crates of beers and soft drinks.

Kibo Group's story

Fausta, 51, is a single mother of one school going child.

She works as a cashier at her little pub which is usually open from 4:00pm to midnight. She has been doing this business for 12 good years now and she's able to make a great profit.

This will be Fausta's second loan from Tujijenge Tanzania. She will use the money to increase her stock of drinks and seats for her customers.

She's happy her business is going on so well as she has managed to pay back her first loan in full at maturity. Fausta has managed to cover household expenses and paid school fees to her daughter.

Fausta appreciates Kiva for all the good support given to her loan group, "KIBO" which is also doing great.

Fausta applied for this loan to reinvest further in her business as she plans to buy more crates of beers and soft drinks for her business to grow.

She dreams of establishing her own brick factory in a near future. Fausta will share this loan with group members of "KIBO" and they will hold each other accountable for paying back the loan at maturity.
