A loan helped a member to buy items of traditional clothing such as dyed skirts, güipiles and sashes.

Grupo Los Siete Picos Group's story

Catarina (first from the left in the photo) is a hardworking wife and mother. She is disciplined and has big dreams in life. For several years, she has been making and selling traditional clothing. She says that with her loan, it was possible for her to buy raw materials and with them she made beautiful traditional clothing. She was also able to sell them at a good price in the regional market. With the income she obtained, she was able to buy more merchandise for her business. With this great achievement, Catarina is very happy, but she is not settling. Over time, the competition has become stronger and so Catarina must offer good quality products at a good price, but to do that, she needs to invest more in her business. For that reason, she is asking for a loan, which she will invest in dyed skirts, güipiles and sashes. Catarina's big dream is to have a business locale to sell more.
