Ingrid's story

Ingrid owns a restaurant in the Villa Copacana zone, which is open on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and offers dishes typical of the La Paz region, such as fricasé, a pork dish accompanied by mote (boiled corn) and chuño (a type of dehydrated potato) and served in its own broth seasoned with yellow ají pepper; chicharrón, roasted and slow-simmered pork rinds accompanied by mote and chuño; lechón, roasted beef and pork seasoned with ají and served with a salad of lettuce, tomato and onion, and roasted sweet potatoes, potatoes, and plantains. Her restaurant is already very well known in the area.

She lives with her husband, who works in electronics repair, and one son who is of school-age; her other children are older and independent. Ingrid is a very responsible and punctual client. She will invest her loan in sets of tables and chairs, a stove exhaust fan, and a set of pots, since the high demand at her restaurant will require her to increase the number of dishes served.
