A loan of $325 helped buy merchandise and pay his providers.

Esteban Miguel's story

Esteben is a member of his community bank, Virgen de las Mercedes. Esteban is single. He studied to be an elementary school teacher, but he has not taught.

For years he worked as an employee in a grocery store. With the money he put together, he decided to buy sacks of rice and legumes and sell them to his neighbors. He decided to open a grocery store in his house.

Esteben needs a loan of 1000 PEN to buy merchandise and pay his suppliers. Since he has been with Finca he has learned to save, to be supportive, gained more knowledge about loans, and how to direct his customers.

Esteban’s dream is to work in his profession and to keep his business growing.
