Sabina's story

Sabina is a member of the Virgen de las Mercedes community bank. Sabina is 60, married, and has three grown and married children. Sabina is from Iquitos. When she was 8, she and her family came to Lima. She studied to be a nurse, and she worked as a nurse until her retirement two years ago.

At that time she started to sell cakes and cookies in her home. Now she has a store-bazaar.

She needs a loan of 2000 PEN to buy crockery, which she would buy from the factories. Since she has been with Finca she has been able to better establish her store, and her business has grown. She learned to how to manage her business, to not waste money, and to keep investing.

Sabina’s dream is to find another location to expand her business.
