A loan of $500 helped increase merchandise.

Vilma's story

Vilma is 40 years old and lives with her husband and their three children in their own home. She has sold vegetables for ten years at a market in the center of the city where she lives. Each morning she loads the merchandise to take to the market with her husbands help. Then she works all day offering her products while treating people well. Good quality vegetables at a fair price is what guarantees that her customers return. Vilma presents her products nicely since her sales depend on it. She is very happy with the rhythm of work because this business is a pillar that her house stands on. Later on Vilma would like to have a large stall of her own at the market where she could offer all types and varieties of vegetables. This is the second time she has had a loan with MFP (Microfinanzas Prisma). She is very thankful to be part of her community bank because it’s a place to grow personally and professionally. She is committed to continue working for the common good. Vilma is applying for this loan to purchase more vegetables at wholesale and partly to pay for transportation to the market.
