Mulia 3 Group's story

The Mulia group is made up of 3 women and 2 men. They have different businesses which are farmer, kiosk, driver and selling chickens.

Apris (on the left) is the representative in this profile. Apris is a 35-year-old, who owns a business selling chickens. He has 2 children from a marriage with Yugina. Prior to running this business, he has been running a business of growing and selling vegetables at the market. Sometimes he buys more vegetables from other farmers as well.

He started selling 10 chickens and it is a profitable business for him. He really enjoys running 2 businesses where he can earn more money for his family. He has been thinking about improving his chicken business. When he learnt about the group loan product provided by TLM he was very excited with it as he has a chance to enhance the business. Along with 4 neighbors, he formed the Mulia group and requested a loan totaling IDR 15,000,000 for their businesses. He has planned to buy 30 chickens, while other members would like to use their part for kiosk stocks, buying fertilizer and seeds. He is thankful for Kiva’s support through TLM for him and other entrepreneurs.
