A loan helped to buy eleven loads of corn to sell.

Jose Santiago's story

Sr. José is 60 years old and has no dependent children. He lives with his wife in their own home, which is located in the city of San Lorenzo in southern Honduras. He has been making a living in the business of selling corn for six years. He operates his business from Monday through Sunday, and his customers are grocery store owners and people who sell tortillas.

José is requesting this loan to buy eleven loads of corn so that he can stock his business and, in turn, those of his customers. He is very happy and thankful for the support he has received from Prisma and Kiva, which has helped him greatly to improve his quality of life. This is his third loan.

José's dream is to improve his house and his business, since this will improve his quality of life.

San Lorenzo, Honduras - January, 2016.
