A loan of $425 helped raising and selling cattle.

Zafarjon's story

Zafarjon is 35 years old. He is married and the father of four children. Zafarjon has a herd of small-horned cattle, consisting of approximately 30 sheep and 10 goats. His wife is a housewife, but in her spare time spins the wool into yarn and knits a variety of warm items of clothing. She sells these things to neighbors and relatives. Each morning Zafarjon drives the cattle into the hills, where they graze, and in the evening drives them back home. Although he does not yet have any large-horned cattle, with this loan Zafarjon wants to purchase two medium-sized bulls. After fattening them for three to four months, he can sell them for a very good price. Zafarjon is very pleased to work with us because having credit is very beneficial to him.
