A loan of $975 helped to buy fertilizer.

Sabino's story

Sabino is 38 years old, married and has two children who live at home. For him, working the land is an art and he cultivates it with great care. Before starting his agricultural labours he first observes the development of his plants, where he removes any bad ones that could threaten the rest, thereby trying to prevent the spread of pests in advance. His cultivation process is first to plant potatoes with an application of fertilizer, then he harvests them, and follows this by sowing peas. In this way he is able to avoid having to use fertilizer so the planting of peas results in a small investment. And market prices are generally stable, without affecting his capital investment. In this way, he tries to reap all of the benefits from each one of his farms with these two products. His greatest difficulty is that he does not own the land himself. Sabino participates in all the payment meetings. He is the funny man and his peers enjoy his jokes. This is his 7th loan and throughout all this time he has worked responsibly on every one of his quotas. The money he is requesting is to buy fertilizer for his next crop of potatoes and with the rest he will buy fungicides for his pea farm that will help leaf growth.
