Giselle has a small piece of land in which she has sown different crops such as papaya and plantain, but on this occasion she wants to start a new project on a hectare of land which her son has lent her in order to grow ñampí, a tuber with an agreeable flavour and rich in nutrients, suitable for wide angoindustrial processing and in great demand in Costa Rica and other countries. Currently, Giselle is asking for a loan of 670 000 colones for a period of 12 months, in order to help her with the preparation of the soil, purchasing seeds, fertilizers among other products which will be necessary in order to guarantee an optimal ñampí crop. With this investment she hopes to achieve a good harvest, with a product which has the necessary characteristics to obtain a high sale price. With this loan she wants to establish a successful project which will allow her to improve her family's conditions and in addition to invest in improving her house. As a member she has received one micro-credit which has permitted her to expand as a businesswoman and gain in self-confidence.
