Managua, Nicaragua / Food Market

A loan of $500 helped to purchase more stock for his store, including basic grains, chickens, dairy products and cleaning products.

Elieser's story

Eliezer is 39 years old and lives in the neighborhood Laureles Sur in the city of Managua with his wife and two daughters, who study at primary school. Eliezer has a small general store which he has run for 3 years. He started his business with the help of loans, and with savings from his previous work. This is his third loan with Afodenic, which has enabled him maintain a good inventory and grow his business. With this new loan, he will purchase basic grains, chickens, sugar cane, dairy products as well as cleaning products. This inventory will help him meet the demands of his customers and continue to grow his business. Eliezer's plan is to be able to finish necessary work on his house, and to be able to support his daughters' education.
