A loan of $425 helped raising and selling cattle.

Askarali's story

Askarali is a young man of 27. He is married and has three children. He raises and sells large and small-horned cattle. His wife is a housewife, who cares for their children and does tasks around the house, in addition to feeding the livestock that remains at the house. Every day her husband drives the cattle into the hills where they graze on the mountain grass. With the onset of spring, the hills are greening up and herders are able to save money because there is not need to buy hay for the livestock. Askarali learned of MicroInvest's credit program from a fellow villager, and decided to take out a loan to increase the size of his herd.
