A loan helped to buy a rickshaw body and seat covers to financially support her brother.


Uzma's story

Uzma is a 34-year-old woman living with her four children and spouse in the area of Lahore, Pakistan.

Her brother is a driver by profession and provides transportation services by using a three-wheeled auto rickshaw. With the help of savings, he has purchased a used auto rickshaw. Its engine quality is good, but the body is totally damaged. He does not have a sufficient amount to buy a new body and seat covers. He wants to start driving, but is looking for a lump sum amount to buy a rickshaw body.

Therefore, Uzma has requested a loan for her brother so that he can buy a new rickshaw body and seat covers and can drive the rickshaw smoothly. Uzma hopes that now her brother would be able to generate more income.
