A loan of $650 helped purchase fertilizer.

Roly's story

Roly is a 23-year-old man who lives with his wife and two children in his own house. He is involved in agriculture, cattle ranching, and, for 4 years now, he has been offering cargo transportation services with his truck. Everyday, Roly gets up very early. With the help of his wife, he looks after his livestock and works his crop fields, growing potatoes, corn, and other native produce. During harvest time or when they sell some of their livestock, he has the convenience of his own vehicle to transport them to the city. In the future, Roly would like to increase his number of cattle and also obtain another truck so that he can boost profits in his cargo transportation business. This is the second time that he requests a loan from MFP. In his previous loan cycles, he was one of the most active participants in his microfinance institute. He is now renewing his commitment to continue with this same attitude in his group. The money that he is requesting will be invested in purchasing sacks of compost and other fertilizers in order to improve his crop fields and ensure a good harvest.
