Abdukayum's story

Abdukayum M. was born in 1965, he is married and has 5 children. He has a high school education. Abdukayum has been raising livestock since childhood. He has goats and sheep, they handle winters better than cows. In the summer he plants vegetables and root vegetables in his garden – for himself and for sale. In his village almost everyone has enough vegetables, milk and meat, because everyone has a garden and livestock. In addition, he works as a farmer at one of the collective farms. He is taking out a loan to purchase livestock. He found out about the loan from neighbors.
