Abdugufron's story

Abdugufron has an unusual profession for this modern age, he makes traditional chests. This trade was passed on to him from his father, and together they continue it. A Tajik chest is traditionally given to one's daughter when she marries, therefore the chests are continually in high demand. Wood that has dried for three years is needed for construction of a chest, special tin for decoration and they are painted with paints made from natural dyes. Abdugufron's chests are strong and beautiful and sell quickly. He is currently out of materials, and therefore to increase their supply, he is applying for a loan.
