Nikolozi's story

Nikolozi is a 27-year-old married man, from Kutaisi city. He lives with his wife, a housekeeper. The couple has no source of income to satisfy their family's increased needs. Nikolozi was unable to find a job, so he decided to start his own business. All of the financial institutions rejected his loan requests because of his unstable financial conditions and lack of experience. After several unsuccessful attempts, Nikolozi applied for the credit to MFO Credo. His request was approved in the framework of the Start Up program, which is a joint initiative with Kiva, permitting poor people to start or re-start businesses. With the loan of 3,000 USD Nikolozi plans to purchase a car and start taxi business. He will work as a driver and will get significant income, that will help his family to make better living condition.
