Soeun R. is a 37-year-old mother of five living with her husband in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She and her husband (pictured here) make their living by cultivating, plowing, and growing crops in the field and earn about $6 per day. This couple works veR. hard day and night in order to make enough income to support the whole family. One of their daughters is a garment worker, one works on the farm with her parents, and the rest of the children are students. Soeun hopes to use the loan to purchase a cow to help her work in the farm. In the future, she hopes to purchase more cows and grow a variety of crops as well as send her children to the local university.
