A loan of $900 helped purchase more products to sell from her carts.

María Celia García's story

María Celia G. is 48 years old and resides in Ahuachapán with her three children, a daughter-in-law and a granddaughter. Despite this, Maria Celia works only to support two of her children who are minors and are in school. She owns a business where she sells cakes, breads, sodas, candy and fruit, all around Ahuachapán. She has several carts from which she distributes her products. María Celia has been working this way for more than 13 years and has been able to expand her business to the surrounding areas. She is requesting a loan so that she can invest more in her business. As a single mother, she strives every day to support her children and be able pay the household expenses. This is why her greatest desire is to continue to expand her business and be able to provide a better life for her children.
