Mas Que Vencedores Group's story

The Más Que Vencedores (More Than Conquerors) Solidarity Group is made up of three people, two of whom are male and one female, as follows: Santos García is 68 years old and married with 3 children, one of whom works in a vehicle repair shop and helps her financially. She has been selling second-hand clothes door-to-door in the village for 2 years now. Those in her community know her well and consider her a responsible and very strong-willed individual. Her greatest wish is to own a clothing store. Angel Fabricio C. is 22 years old and lives with his partner, Mirna Gonzáles, with whom he has no children. He has been selling fish and shrimp for 16 months now, visiting the different eateries in the community, among which he has quite a number of customers on account of the excellent quality of his produce. His greatest wish is to sell his produce wholesale in his own store. Yunior R. is 27 years old and lives with his partner Francis Ordonez and their son. He has been selling tomatoes, potatoes, cassava, cabbages, chili peppers, carrots, pastes (small pastries stuffed with potatoes, meat and fruit etc.), cucumbers, bananas and oranges for 2 years now. He drives around the different municipalities in the Valle department selling his produce. His greatest wish is to own a truck with which to sell a larger amount of goods. All of them need the loan to maintain their families.
