Tatiana's story

Tatiana is 33 years old, single, and lives with her parents, who very much support her business plans. Tatiana has a little store built into her parents' house, out of which she sells groceries and other basic necessities. She has run this shop for two years now, working in it every day. The success of her store rests on the fact that large numbers of people pass through her neighbourhood all the time and also, that she attends to her customers' needs in such a friendly way that they soon become regular clients. Tatiana's dream is to keep expanding her business until it becomes a mini-market. This is her first loan from MFP, and she likes the idea of working in a communal bank because it is about responsibility and teamwork. Like her fellow borrowers, Tatiana is committed to making her loan payments punctually. She will use the loan to buy groceries and other basic necessities to stock up her store.
